the other side of the birthday page from earlier. he's just a pretty boy. Posted by Picasa
another uber simple layout by me. huh huh. I don't think you call them layouts at this stage. but I love the feet and it took me forever to take a good "feet" picture. Trevor was a few months old and would NOT lay still next to Carson. I had it sienna toned for some reason, which was hard to match with paper. I think it turned out alright. Posted by Picasa
this is another one that I just like the picture. You can tell these are my early attempts because my journaling is so plain and right on the paper. I didn't know till afterwards that you're supposed to do them fancy, on background paper or hidden. oh well. If it's hard to tell, I caught him mid-throwing leaves. the hands are blurry but his face looks so happy. Posted by Picasa
this is less of a great layout and just a fun picture. click on the pic to make it bigger so you can read it, I'm not retyping all that. He wore this outfit quite a few days last summer, and still puts together some strange ones. He favors wearing his baby Gap pj's all day long, especially the pirate ones. Arrgh, matey! Posted by Picasa
Like I said, Brandy got me into scrapbooking, and while I'm still so amateurish about it, I do have fun. Here's a few...This one is from Trevor's first bday and it says "How to Eat Cake 1. use 2 spoons 2. lick tray clean!" I don't use the fancy kits to make pages, I just play with alot of plain papers. I'm JUST starting to get into embellishments--they can be so expensive! but they're so darn cute. I figure I don't have girls to buy girly clothes and hairbows for, so why not do something girly with my boy pics? ;) Posted by Picasa

Trevor and cousin Dynise at Chuck E. Cheese. Grandpa and Grandma Jaime took us all there for the afternoon. The kids had a great time, of course. The adults needed liquor. And aspirin.

Vannah with her party mask. And showing off her new hair.

Matching PJ's...I have to do this to them now, I doubt they will let me later on.

Reed doing his SNL Cheerleader routine--note Carson in the background giving the rocker sign...Like Father like son!
he ended the cheer routine with a 2 person pyramid. Poor little Carson Wolfe didn't know she was getting drafted for THIS.

Trevor says, "I can do this Twister thing!"

Jack, Carson and Trevor examine their loot. Note the confetti floor.

Great Weekend!!

First, Friday Reed got one of his favorites for dinner--lobster. Then we were off to see Larry the Cable Guy. He was great. He did his thing for over an hour and a half, and was funny 99.9% of the time. We'd seen a few things of his before, and he didn't even repeat any of his old stuff. We had fairly good seats and had a great parking spot, so everything went perfectly!

Then Saturday, the BIG SURPRISE. Our friend Brett was to keep Reed occupied for a bit so that I could get everyone here before Reed came home from work. He had Reed pick him up at work to come to our house so that his girlfriend Hailey could get him from here. That's a long story, but it worked. Reed was surprised, and we had a good turnout. Kala and Jason and their crew, Brandy and Clayton and their crew, Rodney, Lee and his little guy, Marvin and Teresa and theirs, Carl and his girlfriend, Mark, and of course, Brett and Hailey. A few people had to work late, but we had a great time! It was an 80's theme, and everyone looked great! We played an 80's/Reed trivia game, "guess what's in the bag", and Twister, and ate and drank a ton. The kids went crazy with confetti and I will be cleaning that up the rest of this winter, I think.

Brandy (Madonna), Kala (green) and me in the blue. I have neon hair but you can't tell in this pic.

Carl and Reed--the sign says "Who invited all these Tacky people?"

Brett and Hailey, who was exempt from dressing since he was the one keeping Reed away from the party. Thanks Brett!

Fun Weekend Ahead!

Reed and I have a fun weekend ahead of us, starting with this tonight, Larry the Cable Guy. It should be pretty funny. We've never been to a comedy show like that before. Yesterday was Reed's 30th birthday and we kept it low key, stayed at home. So tonight we're going to dinner before and my mom is keeping the boys overnight. Then tomorrow, we have....I can't tell you! I can post afterwards! It's a secret!
